Leading into the NRLW season this month, HSE Global are excited to sign as the first NRLW-only sponsors of the St George Illawarra Dragons.
The organisation is the first in the history of the club to sponsor just the women’s team while others sponsor both the NRL and NRLW Dragons.
As part of the signing, HSE Global will have their branding appear on the back of the NRLW jerseys, team training gear and on game day signage throughout the season, as well as through sponsorship of their player partner, Ella Koster. In her debut NRLW season and as the youngest player in the team, Ella Koster is set to play in the second row after captaining the Illawarra Steelers in the Tarsha Gale Cup earlier this year. HSE Global Group Managing Director, Ben Wilson said:
HSE Global are proud to be sponsoring and supporting Ella as our player partner, not only is she the youngest player in the team but she is doing an amazing job to be part of a professional league and is very dedicated to becoming a professional female athlete.
A company which began and still operates in nearby Kiama, HSE Global has since grown to operate globally, with over 10 offices across Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
As recognised experts in safety leadership and culture, critical risk management, event reviews, strategic planning, mental health and wellbeing, HSE Global have supported hundreds of organisations to assess, assure and provide strategic guidance on how to address cultural and operational risk, minimise organisational risk profiles and optimise performance.
HSE Global think global but act local, providing solutions that can be operationalised and drive sustainable change to help their partners make a difference in health and wellbeing, safety, and the environment.
We are proud to be supporting female athletes to develop and succeed in their sporting careers as well as playing part in the continual growth of women’s rugby league, which has for a long time been a male dominated field, As key foundational sponsors, the decision to sponsor the team was based on our community, diversity and inclusion focus, something we are proud of as an organisation. It is important that this partnership aligns with our organisational values and we can see that the club practices a family first approach like us, supporting their players, partners, pathways and teams, while also having a strong involvement with the local community The NRLW is the fastest growing female sport in Australia, the number of teams has expanded this season and the competition is getting longer so it is an extremely exciting and rewarding sport to be involved with and great to see how strong the support is,”
Ben Wilson, Group Managing Director
